Rolf Fulton vs. Dr. X (From The Vault)

FROM THE VAULT:  The FTV series presents some of your favorite W4H wrestlers early in their underground careers, or early matches filmed that formed the foundation of the W4H empire.  Rolf Fulton has obviously learned a thing or two from his earliest matches for W4H.  In his first bouts, Rolf battled Cameron and Jonny Firestorm.  Although he lost both times, he took what he learned (experienced) in the ring and turned it around to deliver to his opponents.  Here, Dr X is one of Rolf's first victims.

From the start, Rolf lets Dr X know that his job is to "job", and do it well.  As if Dr. X was unsure, Rolf then begins the process of showing him exactly what that entails.  Blows to the head, a couple head-butts, and some straight chokes all serve to teach Dr. X a lesson.  There is one problem though, Rolf can't seem to get more than a 2 count on his opponent.  This infuriates Rolf, who screams, "You're supposed to be a jobber" and only makes him attach Dr. X with more ferocity after each near pin.

Finally, Rolf decides that the only way to achieve the 3 count is to put Dr. X out for good.  A bearhug that restricts his breathing is followed by a sleeper hold that sees Dr. X slowly fade into Dreamland.  When Rolf is eventually able to get the 1-2-3 he tells Dr. X that bot only did he beat him, but he wants his paycheck as well.  This match is a great snapshot in time to see the evolution of Rolf Fulton into the sadistic and confident ring technician that he is today.  An excellent entry into the FTV series!
