This video went above and beyond, from its unique opening title display (which was very cool and official) to its fantastic ending! The costumes the actors wore are funky and bright, the kind of attire you see in the comics, and the set is helpful in setting the mood and establishes a hero/villain environment effectively! The hero Ruby Flex is very handsome, slick, and confident, and the performer who plays him is worthy of praise! Jim Ratt is very athletic, talented, and good-looking; this guy rocks and will go far! In his debut he assumes the role of cocky superhero who is ultimately outsmarted and overpowered by a brilliant supervillain, and Ratt sells the transformation from hero to zero really well! For his part, KC Ryder assumes the part of vile Mastermind with finesse and is entertaining to watch as the victorious (and demanding) bad guy!
Ruby Flex may start off strong and fights valiantly, but his enemy does not fight fair and uses underhanded tactics to secure victory! Mastermind utilizes crotch shots to slowly render the hero powerless. Ruby Flex is slowly worn down, stretched, pummeled, and put in humiliating holds (all of this is a huge bonus for the audience; who doesn't like to see a cocky hero get owned?)
The match takes an exciting (and extremely enjoyable) turn, as Mastermind takes control of the doomed, heroic hunk and makes him his servant! The evil genius may have had some of his supervillain buddies coming over, because he makes the unfortunate, fallen hero scrub his toilet bowl and mop his floor! How humiliating (and hot) to witness a hero get downgraded from saving the day to being a lowly maid at the villain's beck and call! Forcing Ruby Flex to wear that bow tie was a sexy and pleasant touch! Mastermind gloats and supervises as the hero performs these demeaning tasks, a cruel smirk on his handsome face! Being a supervillain must be exhausting, and it's understandable that Mastermind would have his new errand boy give him a much deserved massage!
There are a couple of small critiques I would respectfully like to offer (and nothing to dock a star off this video, because this match is something special and different and is consequently worthy of 5 stars). I would have liked to see a little more focus on how the hero fell into the trance, a little more focus on the hypnosis induction element. I am also a big fan of the villain going for the good guy's pretty hair in the wrestling/superhero genre (and Ruby Flex has neatly combed, nice hair) I therefore would have liked Mastermind to pull/ play with Ruby Flex's hair more in the round. I do wish this match had been a little longer to lengthen the enjoyment of the round and maybe to cram more story into an already action-packed (and very satisfying )story.
In conclusion, this match showcases the amazing talent of the wrestlers employed by Wrestler4Hire and is arguably one of the best superhero matches I have purchased thus far; it is a must-have for anyone who is a fan of hero-to-zero stories where the proud and gorgeous hero falls and is decimated and humiliated by the super-powered criminal! Keep up the awesome work, Wrestler4Hire; I will definitely be a returning customer!
