Lane Hartley vs. Wayne The Jobber (From The Vault)

FROM THE VAULT:  The FTV series presents some of your favorite W4H wrestlers early in their underground career, or early matches filmed that formed the foundation of the W4H empire.  When your in ring name is Wayne the Jobber, not a lot is expected of you.  Further, I would think that your opponent, here in the form of ring veteran Lane Hartley, probably struggles to even take you seriously.  When Lane is able to attack Wayne from the opening handshake, you can be forgiven if you think that things won't go well for Wayne - the Jobber.

It's not long before Lane has Wayne bent and twisted in multiple ways on the mat as he displays his superior mat wrestling knowledge.  Soon all Wayne can do is moan and cry in pain as he is stuck between the powerful legs of Hartley, and subjected to incredibly strong headlocks within the impressive muscular arms of the ring veteran Hartley.  When Wayne does attempt some offense, Lane is quickly there to deflect it with a neckbreaker that leave Wayne lying back on the mat.

This is Lane Hartley in his prime, a true grade A specimen of a physique which he puts to good use.  Combine that with his superior wrestling ability and you have a lethal combination of not only being strong enough to put Wayne in a devastating backbreakerm but also the ability to deliver an incredible suplex to the hurting jobber.  It is just one of those power moves from Hartley that finally causes Wayne to tap out and submit to the far superior Lane.  We can only expect Wayne the Jobber to withstand so much, and Lane gives him all of that and more!  A great look back at an impressive younger Lane Hartley!
