What happens when you get two people who don't know the meaning of backing down? Who have never been intimidated by any opponent? Who are so confident of their abilities that they have never had to give an inch?
In the instances of Joey Nux and Killer Kris, you put them in the same ring together and let them go at it full steam, knowing that whatever happens, it will be exciting and somewhat dangerous.
As they two face off across the squared circle, there is some cocky trash talking as would be expected.
Joey Nux is the behemoth - tall and thick with muscle upon muscles. Killer Kris comes from an obvious pro wrestling background with decorated amateur wrestling credentials. He can slap on a surprise move in a second, totally taking his opponent off guard and able to end a match on a dime.
Kris rips his shirt off to show dominance, but Joey laughs it off.
The 2 masculine musclemen lock fingers in several tests of strengths - the BEAST IS UNLEASHED and Joey rips his shirt off too. The two trade blows early, until they decide to drop to the mat for a good old fashioned arm wrestling encounter, which Kris quickly ends with a surprise move before an actual winner can be decided. Kris is not above devolving into some rather unsavory moves, including biting his opponent, something that Joey does not take too kindly too. In contrast, Joey is all about power, slapping on bearhugs and full nelsons to hurt his opponent, and hoping that his shear size might just nullify some of Kris' skills and prevent him from being able to slap on some of his more devastating moves.
The sweat is pouring!
Kris continues his "do whatever is needed to be done" philosophy when he delivers some low blows to Joey. Kris is aware that the best offense against big men is to keep them on the mat. Joey bemoans that he has been bitten (more than once) and soon finds himself on the losing end of a modified dragon sleeper hold. Although he attempts to grab onto the bottom rope, with no referee, this is pretty much a useless move and Kris does not loosen the hold. Joey slowly drifts off then only Kris is awake and the winner in the battle of these two.
Although Joey has lost the match against Kris, he does get something that may be even better from Kris, and that is his respect. Kris says that whenever he wants to do it all again, he is game. I think I can safely say that we all want to see that!!!
TOTAL RUN-TIME: 22 minutes, 33 seconds
