Cameron vs. Johnny Jobber (From The Vault)
FROM THE VAULT: The FTV series presents some of your favorite W4H wrestlers early in their underground careers, or early matches filmed that formed the foundation of the W4H empire.
Johnny is waiting in the ring when Cameron enters and the two start to go around admiring the ring. Eventually, they get to looking at the ring ropes and soon Cameron has coaxed Johnny to go to the top rope...an action he will soon regret as Cameron takes the opportunity to throw him to the center of the ring from the top rope!
Cameron demands that Johnny worship him. Despite Johnny's pleas that he will, Cameron does not believe him, and determines Johnny needs more convincing. So the Champ sets about doing the convincing in any and all manners he can think of. In a seemingly endless monologue, Cameron verbally assaults the jobber about what it takes to serve him, as well as what he is going to do to him. Johnny screams for the beating to end, but Cameron has other ideas.
Some of these earlier Cameron matches show a much more demented Cameron, one who was willing to do everything and anything to deliver pain to his opponents. He certainly has maintained all the skill as he has aged, but this younger Cameron seems guided by a darker person, who delights a little too much in the whimpering of his opponents. It is fascinating to see how these earlier matches helped him to fully form into the experienced grappler he has today, both in the underground and professional arenas.
