Ugh…I messed up

Wow! I did it, again. I had a great shoot in Tampa about a week ago featuring Brute Baynard, Christian Thorn, Joey Nux, Austin Cooper & Dashing Dustin. We worked hard to complete several custom videos, as well as a handful of matches for the site. It was a long day, but a fun day, too.  Lots of body slams, torture racks, military presses and dominance.

Two days later, I went with a couple friends (from the shoot) on a road trip to New Orleans for a little Mardi Gras fun. The ride 10-hour ride was great. If you’ve never been to Mardi Gras, let me tell you that it is as wild as the portray it. Definitely a memorable experience.

Christian Thorn missed his flight back to Vegas on Sunday, so he stayed over for another night of trouble making.

I returned home on Tuesday night. I figured I’d come home and edit some videos from the last two shoots. I was most interested in the recent shoot, so I put that memory card in first. It pops up but I cannot see any files in the folder. I goof on that for a few minutes then decide to try it in another computer. Still no files. Fuckkkkkkk!

So I contact the dude that I rented the camera from to see if it was mistakingly recorded to the cameras hard drive. I’ve done it before, so I figured it was probably sitting there and I’d just have to have the footage transferred to a memory card and that would be that. A long 30 minutes later and I get a text saying the camera was wiped clean and if the footage was there, it isn’t anymore.

Oh, man! I’m currently working on a re-shoot with Austin Cooper, Brute Baynard, Joey Nux, Dashing Dustin & Christian Thorn. I may also fly in Cali Boy. Aiming to do this between March 2nd and March 9th.

This is the second worst screw up I’ve had regarding a shoot. The biggest, you ask? Well, one time I filmed for 2 days straight (12+ hour days) and managed to shoot every match (51 total) without any audio.  Now, I was impressed that I could do 51 matches over the courser of two days. I don’t think anyone has even come close to filming that many….even though they were unusable.

I’ve got thousands of photos from the shoot. Not sure what I’ll do with them. Should I save myself some work of going through them to get the quality pics and just delete them or should I make a special gallery? I don’t know.

I’m awaiting word from the customers who purchased custom videos on if they want to wait for me to re-shoot or just simply want a refund. If you’d like to add your custom video request to the upcoming March shoot then shoot me an email info@wrestler4hire.com and I’ll do my best not to mess it up

Yesterday was Valentine’s Day aka Singles Awareness Day. I hung out with a couple friends at a local fair before one of them had to catch a flight back home to Boston. Had a ridiculous donut cheeseburger. You can’t be sad about being single when you have one of those bad boys in your mouth.
